Our inaugural full EV conversion, fondly named “The Mule,” was a Yellow Mini. Having navigated the realm of high-cost electric vehicle conversions, we were determined to showcase a more budget-friendly approach. The Mini was originally purchased in 2014!! It got taken off the road for some minor rust repairs and ended up stripped to a bare shell! It stayed a bare shell until the idea for this project popped into Director Petes head – he then set about re-comissioning the Mini ready for its electric heart transplant.
